This report presents projections of greenhouse gas emissions in Canada to the year 2020.
Canada is required on an annual basis to prepare and submit a national inventory of human induced greenhouse gas emissions from sources (e.g. fuel combustion, industrial processes) and removals by sinks (e.g. growing plants and trees) in the form of a National Inventory Report and a set of Common Reporting Format tables. The Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reporting Program (GHGRP) is Canada's legislated, publicly accessible inventory of facility-reported greenhouse gas (GHG) data and information. See the overview of reported emissions for 2010.
